What do your "Skill Level" tags mean? Beginner: You know very little about magic. We're guessing you've learned a few tricks and have some DVDs or books, but haven't spent a lot of time practicing.
Intermediate: You've been learning magic for a while and have learned some of the basics of whatever area interests you (simple card or coin sleights, basic stage manipulation, etc.).
Advanced: You've put in a couple years of practice, probably done a few shows and are ready for more challenging material.
What's the difference between "Standard Props" and "Special Props"?
We try to give you as much information as possible before you buy. "Standard Props" are items we assume any magician, even a beginner, either has or has easy access to. "Special Props" are things that probably have to be purchased from a magic dealer. Many of you will already have these, but we'd rather you be informed before you buy rather than made afterwards because you have to spend more money for a special prop.
How are your prices set?
The price of each item is determined by the creator. We provide guidance and insight into how to price items, but it is ultimately the creator's decision.
