We're guessing you've learned a few tricks and have some DVDs or books, but haven't spent a lot of time practicing. Intermediate: You've been learning magic for a while and have learned some of the basics of whatever area interests you (simple card or coin sleights, basic stage manipulation, etc.). Advanced: You've put in a couple years of practice, probably done a few shows and are ready for more challenging material. "Standard Props" are items we assume any magician, even a beginner, either has or has easy access to. "Special Props" are things that probably have to be purchased from a magic dealer. Many of you will already have these, but we'd rather you be informed before you buy rather than made afterwards because you have to spend more money for a special prop.
